The 4 Cardinal Rules Of Downline Building (Stolen from Amway)

...Or making Attraction Marketing attractive again.

Imagine yourself an auditorium …

15,000 people, screaming, and a bit mad

(There’s only one word that can really describe the Amway culture) -

Crazy

At first glance, I thought that they were a bunch of yahoo’s, broke college kids, and overall ‘losers’ with nothing better to do, but then Bill Britt stood up – voice thundering – the echo reverberating throughout the Long Beach Convention Center…

“Who in here is a Doctor?”  he asked “Stand Up!”

I about crapped my pants when somewhere between 500-1000 people stood up (about 1/20th of the room) – he then went through every profession – lawyers, real estate agents, dentists – all the “big wigs” of society.

(note:  society is mad)

When he was all done, about 1/3 of the room was standing – made up of all the ‘big wig’ professions of society. Then he said something that changed my thinking:
“Any of you standing  who would NOT trade your lifestyle for mine RIGHT NOW – stay standing…”

Right in front of me – I saw 5,000 people who hated their job, who put ‘the hours in’ every week – who are heralded in society as ‘The Great’s‘ sit down, in full admission that they weren’t living the lifestyle of their dreams

…and I realized:

“There’s something about this Scam deal I’m in that’s just… Wickedly cool
And I was hooked.

Although I didn’t have money instantly flowing into my bank account – I learned a lot from Amway – I learned, for example – why people just ‘like’ these little delicious pyramid schemes we’re all in, that we so lovingly call ‘network marketing’.

One of the reasons people like them – is because this industry is more than just a ‘business’ it’s a family - a tribe, with it’s own rules and ethics.  We treat people differently here, and people don’t have that kind of association everywhere – one of the things I really pulled from Amway was…

…The Four Cardinal Rules of Amway:
Cardinal Rule #1:  Never mess with anyone’s money
Cardinal Rule #2:  Never mess with anyone’s Spouse
Cardinal Rule #3:  Never mess with anyone’s Downline
Cardinal Rule #4:  Counsel upline before you try something stupid (talking about marketing)

Let’s talk about the ‘Cardinal Rules‘ here for a second, and why they can create a different kind of culture here – that really, we all want anyways – some of this seems obvious, but isn’t, really – when compared (fruitlessly) with the MADNESS of society…

Rule #1:  Never mess with anyone’s money.  The real reason for this rule – is that in Amway – back in the day before we all had the ‘magical creature’ from Jekyll Island called ‘autoship’ – didn’t.
Lol.  Believe it or not – MLM was invented as a ‘revolution’ in the shipping process, where the company (Amway, Shaklee, or whatever) wouldn’t ship to individuals – they would ship to ‘Direct Distributors‘ (meaning direct to the company) – they would also pay ‘direct distributors’ who would then pay their team.

Obviously – if you’ve earned a check and you don’t get it – you’ll quit, right?  Well, it’s more than that, there’s nothing that shatters relationships faster than money problems – $15 unpaid when due will turn friends into enemies, turn trust into distrust – and destroy years of hard work in this industry.  This could translate to the affiliate world – to a company like MLSP deciding all of the sudden not paying their people – let me share a quick story on the ‘positive’ of this.

One time, MLSP had this issue with their check writing company, where over $70,000 of affiliate commission checks bounced – it wasn’t their fault, and wasn’t even a mistake – the government was investigating a DIFFERENT company that had their checks written from the same organization – and rather than doing something ethical (it’s the government here) they froze ALL of the business account funds being managed by this check writing company – because they happened to also write checks for the company being investigated.

Here’s what MLSP did – they reached into their own pockets and ate $70,000 to pay their affiliates – that’s what you call the right thing to do.  Why?  Because it wasn’t their money in the first place, and those guys are good business people –Bottom line Something that could have turned into a disaster INCREASED TRUST because they did the right thing.

Rule #2:  Never mess with anyone’s Spouse.  Again, seems obvious – and now that the world has changed
a bit – this could be re-written to say ‘Never mess with anyone’s partner.’

Why does it need to be said?  Because in the corporate world, people purposefully seduce other people’s spouses all the time – and in the words of The Behemoth – “What do you call someone who comes into your house and tries to seduce your wife?  A Scum-Bag.”

People need a place where they can feel safe with the people they love the most – because nothing – not business, not friends – nothing (period) is more important than family.

Rule #3:  Never mess with anyone’s Downline.  This is the one that I really wanted to rant on a bit – folks – your team isn’t just ‘your team’
- it’s the teams of EVERYONE`S downline from you.  In Amway - they were so strict about this, that even if you attempted to recruit someone on someone else’s team into yours (in the same company) the organizations would kick you out of the meetings and never let you attend again.

Why?  It’s the same scum bag crap of a ‘best friend’ hitting on your spouse that happens all the time because Society is Mad.  In Attraction Marketing – that seems like the goal – to recruit people away from other people’s teams, and to show why you’re the better leader…
…but it’s not.

The purpose of ‘Attraction Marketing‘ is to attract prospects, and make more money – you don’t have to badmouth another leader, ever, to do that – you can stand on your own.  My opinion is – if someone calls you – and they say “I was talking Bob – I was thinking about joining him – I was also thinking of joining you…”  What I do is say – “Join Bob dude – don’t worry about it, you can plug into my stuff anyways.”
What most people do is they talk about all of the virtuous reasons why they’re the best sponsor ever – and even bad mouth the other leader – just to make $100 or whatever it is from enrolling someone new.
Also, this applies to downline raiding (purposefully) and company hopping.

Is it ok to build lots of things at once?

Hell yes – I’ve got a few friends that are awesome at it – they’re in 5 things and make six figures in all of them.

Is it ok to raid your whole downline and do everything you can to badmouth the deal you were just in?  Nope.  Remember – that team isn’t just yours – it’s yours, your teams, and everyone in between.
The reality is – if you know how to do this, you don’t need to badmouth anyone to recruit into something else – I believe that it the job of a good upline, that if someone is ‘questioning’ to join their downline or them – to put everything in the favor of the team member and to HELP your team member recruit that person – not to try and pull a fast one and recruit them quickly.

Why?  Because if you’re a leader you have mastery over this space – and you don’t need the recruit – let your team have them.   Let your crossline have them – help people rather than being selfish all the time.

One time, I accidentally sponsored one of my downline’s friends (I didn’t know about it – they just joined automatically somehow)

When I found out – I had the rep moved immediately under the team member – with no questions asked.  Why? Because they’re in my team anyways – I don’t need to enroll the universe – and I’d rather help someone else succeed – in fact – this last month, I gave one of my reps a lead that joined, and brought over 90 people in the team in 2 weeks.  I could have easily recruited that person – but I would rather help others succeed.

People react differently to things – to one person, recruiting a prospect they’ve been working on for months (knowingly) will motivate them.  To most – they’ll want to immediately quit and do something else.
If we create a ‘co-operative’ environment – it’s so much more attractive, it can totally change the game – not just for you and me, for everyone – it’s ok not to recruit every prospect, to instead build a culture of prosperity and synergy.

One time, when I was less cultured – I joined a company, and I brought in 15 people my first week – this was years ago, before my internet days – you know what happened?  My upline confused a prospect, who I had worked with for years – giving them reasons why it might be advantageous to join directly with them.

By natureI can be a little hot headed at times, and what this did was hurt my relationship with my friend – I quit the business immediately (even though I liked it) and I left. I could have made my upline $20,000 a month if that didn’t happen – it ruined my taste of network marketing and I got out.

Now that was naive and I wouldn’t do that now - but think of your team – most people will react in that exact way when faced with a similar problem – don’t ‘attraction market’ your downline’s team members, or they’ll get pissed, quit, and that stupid $300 you made will cost you $20,000 a month.

Just remember – simple things like edifying another team member rather than pulling some sort of ‘stealth’ to get a few hundred bucks can be the difference between someone quitting, or someone being with you for a long time to come.

Rule #4:  Always counsel upline before trying something dumb.  This one I’ll have to clarify a bit – Amway can be a bit of a cult at times ;) Lol.  I would re-phrase this in a new way – when people are NEW – they should stick to a proven path for a bit while they get off the ground.  All the time, I used to have people call me, ask for help – I’d tell them what to do, and then they’d do whatever they were planning on doing before they called.

I used to be amazed at this, (I was making a damned fortune), and then I realized something – there are very few people that actually want to know what to do.  Most people want to just be a part of something bigger than themselves, and do everything how ‘they know is best’.

While that’s ok – it can mean a tremendous loss of money and time for a new person getting started.  A lot of times, someone with TV ‘experience’ will come in, and want to dump $5,000 into TV commercials without knowing a damned thing about direct response marketing – it’s not smart – most people (when they’re new) don’t have unlimited resources – and they need to do something that will eventually produce their desired result.

Make sense?

The purpose of this article is to ‘help out’ our broken attraction marketing culture – ‘attraction marketing’ does NOT mean ‘vulture’ – got it?

Lol.  Bit of a rant there friends – let’s ask here – what are we really doing this for?
For a few hundred bucks?  Or for life long relationships?

Talk to you soon

About Experts, Gurus and Attraction Marketing

What is Attraction Marketing Exactly?

You may have heard the phrase attraction marketing, but what is attraction marketing exactly?

Attraction Marketing is a simple method that has been effective for home based entrepreneurs, internet marketers, network marketers, independent business owners, affiliate marketers, gurus or whatever it is that we like to call ourselves these days.

The approach is quite simple. Instead of talking about and pushing your business opportunity, products, or services; you offer valuable and helpful information to your potential clients that will provide answers and solutions to their problems and questions.

In turn, you become the go-to person in certain areas, and people are drawn to you for your advice. In other words you become 'the'expert'!

What is Attraction Marketing? It’s Leading with VALUE FIRST
If you are writing an article or blogging you can mention a product or service that you’ve found helpful and valuable by providing a link; but you don’t go into detail on how awesome you think the product or service is and start giving a sales pitch.

Often the links to the products and services are provided at the end AFTER the value and help has been given. This is called 'leading with value'.

At this point it is left to the reader if they want to follow the link and investigate further.

This is giving the reader the choice:

to buy or not to buy,

and they don’t feel like they are being sold. People love to buy, but they just hate to be sold to!

Lets Tear Down 2 Common Problems

Most network marketers face the following two problems:
lack of leads and lack of money.

A good attraction marketing system will solve both of these problems.

Good attraction marketing systems give your niche market audience solutions to problems they are having.

This type of system puts you in the position of “the hunted” and not “the hunter.”

Attraction marketing systems allow you to position yourself as a leader or expert.

Since attraction marketing systems consist of several affiliate programs that allow you to target your niche market audience with relevant content, this allows you to generate leads for your network marketing business. Leads are then passed through your affiliate funnel, giving them relevant information to tackle their problems.

Step-by-Step Marketing Strategies

A good attraction marketing system should include, but not be limited to, step-by-step marketing strategies on how to use social marketing (such as Facebook, LinkedIn, MySpace, and Twitter);

video marketing; pay-per-click marketing; forum marketing; content/article marketing; blogging, free classifieds; Ezine/solo ads; and keyword research, just to name a few.

Massive Reach – Thank You!

Attraction marketing in our current world has been springing up all over the web. You can observe this all over the internet through social networks, blogs, videos, etc. The internet has created an even playing field for many people because the starting price-point is so low.

Before we had all of these online communities it was difficult and costly to do effective attraction marketing. It took tons of money to create a helpful video or a brochure and then get it out to the masses.

Today using the internet you can have a personal webpage with your valuable content and send it out to the masses at very little cost. Lots of people are using attraction marketing to promote themselves.

The people that do this correctly are creating fortunes online. It all really comes down to how well you market yourself. Many people are trying to market a product or a company and they are getting nowhere. There is an easy solution. Just market you and you will find success. Share your experiences, share your knowledge, and share the tools or services that you use to bring yourself success; share your story!

Reach Out and Offer Your Value
If you reach out with a solution, have the knowledge to back it all up as an expert and leader, and you know why you’re reaching out (it’s important to know your why!)
then you will naturally attract people to you.

Individuals will be drawn to you,

and even if they don’t work with you immediately, they will eventually; or they might just refer someone to you!

What is attraction marketing? It is 'Leading with value!'

Banners Broker
Debunking The Scam

Banners Broker - Myth or Magic?

Money-Magnet
I had to write this.
I see so much commotion about Banners Broker that's just uninformed noise, I had to speak up.

The so called "insiders," who are not much more than bloggers with an opinion trying to rank for a keyword, need some actual facts.   I've been a full time professional affiliate of the company for a year now.
I've attended their major events (Click here for event review), met and interacted with the CEO, Chris Smith, the COO Raj and Lorenzo, their #3 man, hung out with their families - wives, kids the whole shot, so I feel I have some grounds to speak. I know there are some warts, but let's be real here.
Even almighty Google started in a garage.

If any of these critics could speak with real knowledge of how it works we could do something constructive, but they just show that they really don't understand the business model. It's new and I am going to cover it thoroughly, so there are a few pages to read. Let's get started!

So, what is Banners Broker?

Banners Broker is just what it says - a broker in the banner advertising field. A unique broker - unique in that no one else does what they do.
What’s a broker? The dictionary says: “a broker is a person who buys and sells goods or assets for others.”
Banners Broker “brokers” in a slightly different way than has been done before on line… here’s an overview:

There is a network of websites and advertising companies that comprise what is called the “Blind Network”(Click here for definition) (an Internet ad industry term).
Note, that I didn't say - Banners Broker operates within a Blind Network.

They operate within T-H-E Blind Network.
The same Blind Network that millions of advertisers and publishers already operate within.
The same Blind Network that successfully generates BILLIONS of Dollars of revenue every year.
This isn't something invented by someone to trick you - it's how the on-line advertising industry works - (so how can these so called "insiders" be inside anything but their own rear ends?)
...Sorry...
A comparative is magazine advertising.
If you want to put your ad on the front inside cover of Time Magazine, you’re gonna pay top dollar.
A front-page ad on the New York Times is a bit expensive and there’s just so many of those spaces available. In the television ad world it’s prime time or the Super Bowl.

Advertise there? Forget it.

It’s not cheap. Not the place for the small guy to get into the online ad world.
The Internet equivalent is having your banner ad on the top of Inc.com or Forbes.com or some other top tier site.

But what about the small business that wants to advertise online?

If you can't afford Time Magazine, front cover inside and just want to advertise in the magazine, you would pay a lot less, but they'd put you where they felt it fit best.
You would not have control over where you were put in the publication.

Imagine this situation on the Internet.
There are some 500 million websites on line, give or take a couple... There are a percentage that a) get enough traffic and b) want to make money hosting advertising on their site. They have space that they want to rent out.
This is part of the reason they're on line in the first place – to make revenue from their website – any smart website owner knows that advertising is a potentially lucrative part of his income streams.
They go to a broker and if their site qualifies, they can then be a publisher.
All of this available advertising space is bid on the auction block and depending on the amount of visitors to a website, it will command a certain price - lower prices for lesser traffic sites – higher prices for higher traffic sites.

Google is an example...

Google has a program called AdSense that utilizes Google’s network and many, many website owners go to Google and apply to run AdSense advertisements on their websites to earn revenue.
Well, outside of Google, there is a network that is controlled by about 10 major brokers.
They bid website advertising space, they connect the ad space with the advertiser and they make that space make money. And there is lots of money in Internet advertising.
Some $37 or $38 Billion in 2011.

The Blind Network that Banners Broker uses is second tier – not front inside cover of Time Magazine or atop Forbes.com. Ads are placed wherever it’ll work best on smaller websites in the second tier network.

Banner ads are shifting entities that move from site to site, from eye to eye.

If you’ve ever noticed, somehow the Internet tracks your search behavior. If you’ve been searching for cameras and then go to website X that has banner ads, more than likely you will followed around by banners about cameras, camera accessories and the like.
But if your friend went to that same site, he’d get a different banner ad.
Banners are targeted to your demographics and search history. Different ads appear in the same space according to who is logged on from what computer.
So, if you wanted to flip through the entire network of sites, you could find the ad that merchant X placed with ad company Y somewhere amongst those trillion pages…

Banners Broker Product

So, How does Banners Broker fit in?
In 2010, owner and CEO, Chris Smith – an IT guy - had the idea to tap into this market in a unique way.
He approached those 10 blind network brokers with a proposition – to create a broker relationship that was unique, innovative… if the idea worked it could revolutionize the Internet ad world…
And?

They all said….“No.”
Except one. One of the medium sized brokers saw the potential and said, let’s try it. This was a concept in it’s infancy and guess what? It’s working.

No one on the outside has a clue, but it’s working.

Chris built the computer algorithm that would sell to individuals (Banners Broker affiliates), parcels of that advertising space, which then made money from real ads.
His vision was to create a pool of funding that could increase the amount of ad space bid for – i.e. grab a bigger share of the market, which that broker controlled, and thereby increase revenue.
The front line broker would then be invoiced by Banners Broker and pay them their part of that earned revenue. Banners Broker as part of its operating expenses would then pay its affiliates.
Banners Broker affiliates purchase the product of “advertising inventory,” from Banners Broker, which the front line broker connects to advertisers.

So the product of Banners Broker is: Advertising Impressions.

The end user – the advertiser, who never sees or hears of Banners Broker, gets ad space that hosts his advertising, and visitors to the various websites where that ad is displayed, see that ad.

There’s the product.
Sort of tough to see in a virtual word, but there it is.

Traffic

And there’s one other very little known trick in the system that makes it work.
In any business, traffic is a commodity. Brick and mortar businesses depend on people walking by the shop. Traffic is where the money is. Traffic is why Times Square or other similar places in cities around the world are packed with very high priced advertising space.
Traffic = income.

Well, part of what makes Banners Broker work is that they are also partnered with Internet traffic companies – companies that for a fee, send real live visitors to the websites where the ads are.
So, when an affiliate purchases ad inventory, he also purchases the means to make that ad inventory create revenue – traffic.
The advertiser pays per view – so every time that ad is put on a web page, in front of a visitor, the advertiser pays the advertising company. So, everybody gets what they need and want – real visitors, paying advertisers, a website that makes revenue for it’s owner…
My wife and I used to sell shoes in a mall in Erie Pa.
Canadians would come from across the NY/Canada border to Erie by the busload to shop because Erie had no sales tax… so, the city of Erie got smart and by setting up favorable conditions to bring traffic from Canada, got tour busses full of people, money in hand to their doorstep.

Smart use of traffic earns Erie, Pa. more revenue.

That’s how traffic works - people who come past your shop with money in hand ready to buy. That’s how Banners Broker does it.
All the ingredients are there to create a booming business model – an expanding advertising network, lots of affiliates who want a chance to get into the profitable game of internet advertising and the ability to drive of lots of traffic to round it all out.
So, everyone benefits. The broker has more leverage, the website owners make more consistent money and the smaller advertisers who can’t do Time Magazine front cover inside have a place to advertise that they can afford.
Banners Broker affiliates have a vehicle to create a business in the online advertising industry that just didn’t exist before.
Even the traffic company gets a piece of the action.
But “insiders” have never heard of Banners Broker ‘cuz the company doesn’t go to Internet advertising trade shows… Advertisers and publishers generally have never heard of them.

Why?

Because Banners Broker’s clients are their affiliates on one end and the front line broker on the other end, not ad agencies.

Banners Broker doesn’t touch advertisers in general – except their own growing list of advertising clients – which they feed into the overall blind network.
Banners Broker is a broker. Yes, they have an advertising platform of their own, but the overwhelming bulk of their revenue comes from the blind network. Banners Broker invoices the front line broker who pays them; Banners Broker then pays it’s affiliates then pockets it’s own profit.

But Isn't Banners Broker Just Another Sleazy Ponzi Scheme?

What’s a ponzi scheme anyway? The dictionary defines a ponzi as:
Ponzi scheme |ˈpänzē| noun a form of fraud in which belief in the success of a nonexistent enterprise is fostered by the payment of quick returns to the first investors from money invested by later investors.
ORIGIN named after Charles Ponzi (died 1949), who carried out such a fraud (1919–20).

Well, what about a pyramid?
The definition of a pyramid is:
A system of financial growth achieved by a small initial investment, with subsequent investments being funded by using unrealized profits as collateral. • short for pyramid scheme.

Banners Broker is neither.

A Banners Broker affiliate buys a product – ad inventory - blank advertising space on a website. He also buys traffic from a traffic broker and he also buys advertising impressions for his own use in advertising on the same blind network.
If he knows what he is doing, he gets that advertising inventory to work, utilizing traffic, creating revenue.
If he's really saavy, he gets his own ad campaigns running promoting his own website and products. Affiliates can also sell advertising and publishing services that Banners Broker offers.
If he wisely shepherds his earnings he can increase his working ad inventory and thereby increase his revenue. If I pay $10 for a piece of ad inventory and make $20, that’s not some outrageous markup.
It costs me $2.50 in traffic to enable that $10’s worth of ad space to make $20. I then pay $10 for another piece of inventory, I pay for more traffic and I keep it rolling.
I don’t take my “profits” out until I have created cash flow in excess of what is required to continue my businesses growth… Just like any other business.

I just made $7.50 in 3-4 weeks off of that inventory. What’s so strange about that?

Hell, those shoes I sold in Erie cost me $19 from my wholesaler, but I sold them for $60 and they brought raving return customers. (And jewelry markups are way, way higher.)
If an affiliate learns and utilizes sales skills – just like any other businessman, he can make small sales commissions from bringing in other affiliates – and he earns free traffic called “sales credits.”
Remember the bad joke that “MLM” stands for Most Lose Money? Sadly, it’s true. I know first hand. I am a paid, successful Multilevel Marketing professional.
I know that of the almost 3,000 of my downline, very few make money, but those few that do work their tails off…. those few that do have developed sales, communication, leadership and mentoring skills to a high degree.

So the individual makes the model work or fails to make it work. It’s still all up to you in the end.

Is multi-level marketing a fraud?
No, not at all. It’s just that most who enter that field have no business running a business, so blame the business model when they need to look in the mirror.
They think someone is supposed to do the work for them and they sit back and make money. Doesn’t work like that in real business…
Remember Amway got shut down as a ponzi in some countries where the MLM business model was not well understood, yet they were the founder of a very unique, but legitimate business model in the 50s.
And Google, Apple and HP all started out in garages…

Remember young George Lucas? He approached Hollywood and they all said no.

Except one.

Chris Smith started Banners Broker with an idea, a computer program and one front line broker who could see the potential. In two years he has 265,000 affiliates and Banners Broker is growing like wildfire and starting to catch on.

Seeing this concept work, one of the original resounding “No” brokers – a big one – has now done a double take and reconsidered.

Banners Broker and that new broker are currently bridging their computer systems to do business.
Hollywood missed hits right under its nose.

Sometimes it takes a while for a unique model to gain acceptance…
But when they do, if they can survive in the jungle we call business; they can change their industry.

How to write Ads that Convert

Copywriting is obviously a huge subject that’s incredibly important to any business.

However, it’s often overlooked by Internet Marketers and small businesses.

Little do most people know; a single word change to your headline can increase conversions by upwards of 200%.

I can’t put into words how crucial copywriting is for any business.
It affects everything in a direct way.
The conversion rates of visitors to leads and leads to customers.

So How Do You Write Ads That Convert?

Well first, you should know that ads aren’t created. to make money.
If you think you’re going to get rich by simply converting visitors into leads you’re in for a shock…

…And you have some serious misconceptions about marketing…

…Ads are simply to spark curiosity in visitors, to build enough intrigue so they give you their personal information.

A killer ad should awake your visitor’s desires to want to buy whatever it is that you’re selling, without them initially knowing someone is for sale. Makes sense?

Ads shouldn’t sell your product, they should sell a free glimpse or freebie to provoke curiosity and awaken desire.

Here are the keys to excellent ads:

1. Hypnotic Words
First and foremost, hypnotic words. Some words are just hypnotic, they trigger a psychological emotion or action…
….and they hypothetically force visitors to read your ads and opt-in. Words like “revealed”, “secrets”, “uncovered” and “shocking”. You can find a whole list of hypnotic words online.
Hypnotic words draw immediate attention and build intrigue forcing people to continue reading or even buy your product.

2. Play With Emotions
This is possibly the biggest secret to writing amazing, earth shattering, soul destroying ad copy – if that makes sense? (LOL)
Play with emotions, others call this “mind-fucking”. But that’s a bit vulgar.
The only way to do this is to know what’s going on inside your audience’s heads. Study the demographics and psychographics of your target audience and ideal customers.
What makes them tick? Are they in debt? Struggling to pay their bills? Desperate to shred 5 pounds of fat? Uncover their emotional triggers and leverage them! Harness the power of emotions and relate to your audience, evoke feelings that make them take action. (BEST COPYWRITING ADVICE PERIOD)

3. Curiosity
Curiosity makes people opt-in to email lists. You can write an ad title like “Secret Underground Push Button Software Rakes In $39,000,000 of “Top Secret” Stolen Cash In 60 Seconds” and it’ll get a shit load of conversions.
Of course it’s total B.S., but it’s a clear example of curiosity. Build enough curiosity in your ads to make people click them, a little less curiosity than you use on your squeeze pages.

4. Fears & Desires
These are emotions, but you really need to dig deep into these two. What exactly do your audience want and or need?
Precisely why do they want to achieve their desired outcome?
Leverage the answer in your ad copy.

5. Tease
WIth some audiences this strategy works best. Show or “tease” your audience by showing them part of what they’ll receive by taking your desired action i.e. opt-ing into your email list or buying your product.

6. Proof
Nothing beats proof, and it’s a bummer for the marketers out there who don’t posses sufficient proof to use in ads. If you’re going to use proof, make sure you can back it up with concrete results.
This applies most to using numbers, in terms of traffic, leads, sales and income. Don’t write “Underground Sofftware Generates 10,000 Visitors In 48 Hours” if it doesn’t.
You can get into serious trouble writing false information like that. But if you have a product or service that is near guaranteed to produce certain results; use the numbers to your advantage.

How To Manage Your Energy When You Have To Work All Day…

That Post Is Because Of Not Knowing How To Manage Energy Properly.

What you see above, is a common thing that happens to people who need to go through intense periods of work for prolonged periods of time.
Trust me, I’ve been there Erlinda, and I still make $250,000 a month, so don’t worry about it (first of all). Let me teach you how to make it so you can operate in the flow all day and night, when you need to, and how to feel happy, be healthy, and powerful every minute of the day.

These concepts will help you effectively manage your energy:

1.  What’s happening here is completely normal.  The neurotransmitters in your brain are exhausted from over focusing without enough recuperation.  The best way I can explain it without trying to be a scientist, it’s like you are bench pressing every day, with no breaks, you can’t do it.  You need rest.

2.  Your mind can only focus on a single task with complete clarity for 90 minutes.  After 90 minutes, you need a break if you’re doing any intense kind of mental work, for at least 15-30 minutes.  Most people don’t need to do this, because they work boring, repetitive jobs.  Being an entrepreneur is different – it takes a kind of intense mental and spiritual energy that will exhaust in 90 minutes if you’re doing it right.  There is no way around this.

3.  Mental work needs to be balanced out by physical movement.   If you work all day and don’t exercise, your mind will get burned out, and you’ll click refresh on your screen 100 times a day, space out the whole day, and not get any work done if you’re doing intense mental work like you have to do as an entrepreneur.

4.  You can reset the neurotransmitters in your brain in two ways.  You need 8 hours of sleep, or 15-25 minutes of proper meditation.  I’d choose the meditation, unless you only need to work 90 minutes a day, which especially if you’re new, you probably need a bit more.

5.  If you use these concepts to construct a strategy, you can work hard all day and night when you need to, and work LITERALLY the whole day, like you just woke up from a good night’s sleep.

Here’s my personal energy management strategy:

1.  In the morning, I start the day by getting my most important work done.  I don’t need any kind of meditation when I wake up – my mind is fresh.  I get up, drink a bit of coffee, and hammer out a blog post and some emails – the most productive activities that make you the MOST money (for me) are best completed immediately upon awakening.

2.  I break all of my work into 90 minute segments.  The way I do it, is I have an iPad, I downloaded a free stop watch app.  When I start work, I hit ‘start’ on the stop watch.  When it hits 90 minutes, I stop, no matter what I’m in the middle of.

3.  The first thing I do during my 30 minute break, is something physical for 5-10 minutes.  I like Kung Fu, singing, and dancing.  I’m not good at singing, or dancing, but I sure have gotten a lot better!  You’ll be amazed at how good of shape you’ll get into doing this.

4.  Then I do 20-25 minutes of trancendental meditation.   Trancendental meditation is meditation via rythmic chanting.  I also recommend Holosync, although I don’t feel it can reset you as quickly as transcendental meditation can.
The basic strategy is, sit down with your feet flat on the floor, your back straight and upright (don’t lie down, you’ll fall asleep, and you don’t need it) and then chant something in a rythm for the count of four as you breathe out, and chant it for the count of four as you breathe in.
What you chant doesn’t matter, at all.
Sometimes, Christians and other religious groups have a problem with meditation, like you’re connecting with Satan, or something.  That’s ludicrous.  Jesus never said “thou shalt not meditate”.  I didn’t say to chant the name of Satan - the purpose is to reset your neurotransmitters so you can work more efficiently – if you want, you can take a hebrew phrase from the Bible, and chant that, the only thing that is important is that what you’re chanting isn’t something distracting.
For example, I’ve ran into Christians who also meditate, who chant the hebrew name of Jesus:
“Yeshua Hamashiach”
Or, you could chant the tetragrammation, which is the four hebrew characters that create the name ‘Jehovah’:
“Yod – Hey – Wod – Hey”
( I think)
Or something nonsensical, like:
“Ahem…. Ahem….”

That works.
The word is irrelevant, the rythmic chanting produces an Alpha-Theta state and re-sets your brain.  Something nonsensical will do.  What has been proven, is in 15-20 minutes, your neurotransmitters will re-set like you just got 8 hours of sleep.
(you still need sleep at night)

5.  Work for another 90 minute cycle, and then repeat the pattern.

Anyways, hope that helps!

That’s what I do, even when I don’t work all day and night.

Why?
Because, I always work, even when I  am not working for money.  I’m not rich and free to sit around and be a fat, lazy ass hole.
I’m rich and free, so I can learn cool stuff.  So right now, I’m spending 4-8 hours a day blasting out a new strategy and I do it in 90 minute cycles, using the strategy above.

Ok – I’m off.  In the last 90 minutes, I’ve:
1.  Uploaded a video
2.  Written this blog post
3.  Sent an email to all of my lists
4.  Created a bunch of leads through social media and stirring up some commotion on Facebook.

What did you do?

Ok, my 90 minutes are done.
Now, it’s time for some Weigh lifting!

How to prosper during an Economic Crisis

There’s no doubt about it. We’re headed for an economic collapse that may rival – or surpass – the Great Depression. Politicians were convinced that the solution was a government based buyout of the failing financial institutions.

However, they were wrong.

A level of collapse and depression is now imminent – so what can you do?

The problem with a failing economy, is that when the economy fails because of a failing system, instead of seeking new solutions to financial difficulties, people attempt to do more of the same activities that led to disaster, in this case, try and get jobs.

That’s madness, because in economic downturns, jobs are sparse, and chances are you will not be able to find a job that needs the services you can provide.

However, there is an adage, spoken by the my contemporary, Zig Ziglar, that goes something like this:

“If you help enough people get what they want, you will inevitably get what you want”

So there are 2 questions here:

1. What do you want now, and what are you going to want when savings dry up, jobs are scarce, and you don’t know where to turn?

2. What will the masses of people want when times are tough?

Answer to question 1 is entirely up to you, however, question 2 is not only predictable, it’s historical. What people need in times of depression is OPPORTUNITY. People who increase opportunity, by Zig’s law, will absolutely prosper in the most depressing circumstances.

So How Do You Increase Opportunity?

There are many ways to do this. The first way, and one of the most popular, is by selling inexpensive information. Let’s say that you know how to make money by driving traffic to sites through Google, and in that field, you are an expert. You could write an e-book, (which costs nothing to produce), and sell it through any of the proven marketing models that are available online. If your book provides value and is marketed properly, and the price is right, bamb! You can make money and thrive even in depressing circumstances.

Although information marketing is an excellent business, you may not have the skills or knowledge yet to be able to capitalize on it quite yet.

Personally, my favorite way to increase opportunity is by the well known and widely practiced business model of Network Marketing. Network marketing has been shown through more than 60 years of history to dramatically prosper in hard times. The reason for this is simple: in hard times, there are almost unlimited amounts of people who are not satisfied with their financial situation.

Network Marketing not only provides the solution to these people’s economic depression, but it provides them with the step by step training and knowledge to be able to succeed, and the good news is – if the company is worth its salt, they will provide this training to you FREE!

By helping these people make more money, through the time tested and proven business of Network Marketing, you are solving their problem, filling their need, and the good news is – YOU prosper in the process!

So How Do You Take Advantage of This Information?

Simple. Find a strong, growing, cash rich networking company and learn the skills you need to RIGHT NOW so when the times of trouble hit, you’re still standing strong.

Conclusion

There are many ways to fill needs in times of a failing economy, and by far the most abundant need is for financial opportunity. There are also many ways to help increase financial opportunity in these times, but if you are serious about prospering in the years ahead, it helps to do something that has been proven to work in previous depressions. The type of opportunity that has the most history, growth, and prosperity in times of economic crisis is Network Marketing.
